Dental Veneers
Dental Veneers will give you the full, bright, even and natural smile you’ve always wanted. Porcelain veneers are thin shells of ceramic that are designed and crafted to bond to your teeth to correct any shape and/or color mismatch to give you the smile you’ve always desired.
Many people consider veneers to be invasive as tooth structure has to be removed. In reality, dental veneers are a minimally invasive dental procedure that produces beautiful improvements in your smile. Only tenths of millimeters of tooth structure from the front portion of the tooth is altered to be able to bond a veneer to natural tooth. Veneers are strong, beautiful, natural looking and bond to your teeth with very high predictability. Veneers are routinely used to fix worn down teeth, discolored teeth, chipped or broken teeth, mal-aligned teeth or irregularly shaped teeth with gaps, overlaps or a combination of such factors.
Veneers can be made from resin composite material which are less costly if financial limitations are a concern. Porcelain veneers are lab fabricated, offer more strength, and natural appearance with the translucency of natural tooth enamel. Porcelain veneers also resist staining better than the resin veneers and better mimic the light reflecting properties of natural teeth. Resin veneers are thinner and require removal of less tooth structure which is why they’re usually not recommended over porcelain veneers.
